Something I’ve found out after years working in marketing is that people do not know how to market. They know how to sell, but not market. Selling is pretty basic. I have this thing, you need this thing, so buy it. Marketing is different though, it facilitates the sale, it leads up to the sale, but it does not sell.
Marketing is not sales. It makes sales possible, but it is very different.
That’s the goal of Blog Trackr really though: to educate and guide businesses on how to market better. We believe in blogging as a content marketing strategy, however even focusing on that misses the picture a bit. You see, blogging is a method of marketing but it is not marketing alone. We’re highlighting a piece, a large piece but still a piece. So we went back to the drawing board a bit as techies do and thought: how the hell can we help marketers even more? How can we more fully educate businesses on how to grow?
I was reminded of the branding playbook we wrote up in an effort to help businesses self-service a bit. By following our playbook you can effectively set a branding strategy–setting your mission, goals, the plays you’ll make–in order to market better. The idea is to bring focus to your marketing efforts around a single brand and mission, rather than just sell, sell, sell.
Well, rather than just talk about it we’re going to do it. As we speak we’re hard at work designing and building a branding playbook right in the Blog Trackr app. You’ll be able to map out your content and social strategy, record your goals, and set check-ins to make sure you’re still on track. We hope that this allows you to leverage the Blog Trackr platform to it’s fullest advantage, oh and did we mention we’re adding this at no additional cost?
For $50/month you’ll have the power of a branding marketing consultant at your fingertips, all you have to do is click a button. Pretty fricken cool if you ask me. Interested in learning more about Blog Trackr? Check out our pricing page here for more information!
